I love doing color work. I have been working with color in various media for decades and with film and video for the last 15 years.
I built and directed the Digital Media Studio at Juniata College for 12 years. We produced all the online media for Juniata, averaging 75 pieces annually. We won 5 Telly Awards and a Davey for our work and were covered by national publications like The Chronicle of Higher Ed, The Chronicle of Philanthropy and Continental Airlines In Flight Magazine as well as regional publications like the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, the Altoona Mirror and the Huntingdon Daily News. We were consistently credited with helping to exceed fundraising and recruitment goals for the college.
I bring unusual breadth of experience to this work - I did my undergrad in Photography at Bard College. After Bard I worked in New York City for six years as a fine printer both freelance and with 220 Print, a company working with some of the most important photographers in the world: Robert Mapplethorpe, Lisette Modell, Larry Clark, Larry Fink, Bruce Davidson, Rosalind Solomon and more. I printed and worked with many other great photographers like Jill Freedman, Anita Chernewski and Timothy Greenfield-Sanders.
I hold an MFA in Digital Photography from The Academy of Art University.

I am a widely exhibited artist and painter, with 13 single exhibitions including shows in New York City, Washington, DC and Pittsburgh as well as numerous group and juried exhibitions. My work is held in collections both public and private all over the world. I am a published illustrator, specializing in work with academic research publications like Research Penn State, Illumine (University of Iowa), Perspectives (Ohio University), Paradigm (Whitehead Institute) and more.
I have taught digital media production, film, photography and studio art at the college level for 15 years, both at Juniata College and Texas State University. Before that I taught photography and painting in adult education classes. I now teach workshops in Da Vinci Resolve (color grading) and lighting techniques for low budget film.
I currently freelance as a Colorist and a Gaffer in Austin, TX.
